Sony renames PlayStation suite to PlayStation Mobile

Sony has announced at At E3 confrence that it will rename its Playstation suuite services to PlayStation Mobile thus allowing more OEM`s to make PlayStation certified phones.just like the Awesome Xperia Play which was the first phone to boast PlayStation certification and offered an awesome Gaming experience


We’d expect the current One series of devices to support the service as they have almost same specifications as that of Xperia Play .The Sony PlayStation Suite consists of mobile optimized games and PS1 classics. We expect more OEM`s to come into the Gaming market.

Facebook to launch its own Phone by next year

Popular social network, Facebook has decided to come up with its own smartphone before next year . Many phones come with a dedicated Facebook button while many more come with a deep Facebook integration but a smartphone from the company itself is yet to be seen and is highly anticipated.

We heard of similar projects last year but they were thrown into trash. and now as the rumours quote The project is back again and the Company has again partnered with HTC to make the Phone. We saw the two phones from HTC Chacha and Salsa with deep Facebook integration and Dedicated Facebook button but they were not quite popular among the users.

As we heard the company has hired former engineers form Apple to do this project .and as HTC is involved we might see an Android phone

The future will tell about the trueness of the rumour but we assume we might likely see a phone from Facebook.Bookmark us to stay tuned..

HTC reveals Android ICS update roadmap

Today is a day of good news for HTC users (if your device qualifies for the ICS update).HTC has finally unveiled their much awaited roadmap for Android ICS update. one thing to note is that al the devices will get HTC Sense 3.6 instead of 4.0 in the update due to Hardware limitations.

HTC One X gets 1.28.720.10 OTA update in India

Today when I was playing around with the HTC One X , an OTA update popped up on the screen. This is the 1.28.720.10 update which was rolled out in Europe recently. This update is expected to fix the battery life woes of the Quad Core phone which is by far the best Android device money can buy at this point of time.Once you get this notification, you can download the update over 3G or WiFi and install it. It takes a while and you will be running on the latest version of software.


Seems like the kernel and baseband versions have changed indicating that the radio performance might have been tweaked to conserve battery.

Did HTC nistakenly revealed the HTC EVO 3D Successor

Official product videos are hardly on top of our list for upcoming smartphone leaks, but stranger things have happened, right? A curiously looking prototype has made an appearance in the freshly announced HTC EVO 4G LTE promo clip, and made us wonder if we didn't accidentally (or not?) catch a glimpse of the HTC EVO 3D's possible successor.

As you can see above, the dual-camera layout of the prototype, along with the position of its dual-LED flash certainly points in this direction. Of course, this could well be a prototype only device, which will never see production.
And here goes the promo video itself.

What is your take on the subject? An upcoming smartphone, or a design exercise? We surely hope for the first option.

HTC Relaunching its htcsense.com website will delete your current user data on 30 April

HTC has many new plans this year, one of their plan is to concentrate on less devices and make their Sense platform better, just a while back HTC Sense customers received a mail saying that their cloud services like Contacts, messages, Footprints and call history will be shut down and made offline. The heading says that they are not actually shutting the service down but renovating their cloud service or HTCSense.com.

This is the letter HTC had sent its users:



Dear HTCSense.com customer,


HTCSense.com is undergoing a renovation to improve the services and value we deliver to customers like you.


Until the new services are ready, features previously available on HTCSense.com will be shutting down. If you have been using HTCSense.com to sync your Contacts, Messages, Footprints or Call History, you can download your data through April 30, 2012. After April 30, your data will no longer be accessible and will be deleted.


Download your .zip file by following these steps:


Visit http://htcsense.com
Log in with your HTCSense.com username and password
Click the ‘Download’ button in the Account Overview section
A .zip file containing your data will download to your computer for easy viewing
If you would like phone location or backup services for your device, please visit Google Play (formerly Android Market) and download an application that best meets your needs.

Customers using these services are given until 30th of April to download and retrieve the data in a .zip format, after which the data will be deleted. This is really weird because of HTC is not shutting down this services and are just “renovating” it, and if modified version of these application turn up later, then would they ask their customers to again upload the data which they just downloaded? Or is HTC abandoning the whole cloud approach?


Just recently HTC announced an alliance with Dropbox which comes with HTC One series devices tightly integrated with Sense and it maybe due to that HTC might be closing those services, but again the older devices do not have this Dropbox integration. Something is missing over here and HTC really has to provide more information on this move. Well, we will update you as soon as more news about this issue comes up so stay tuned.

HTC Dual SIM Smartphone HTC T328W Wind details emerge

Images of Dual SIM HTC smartphone, HTC T328w Wind has surfaced in China. This has Dual SIM support along with Dual Standby and runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). This phone belongs to HTC Dragon series that was announced last month in China and comes with a 4-inch (800 x 480 pixels) Super LCD WVGA display, 5 megapixel camera, single-core 1Ghz processor and Beats audio support.

It also has 512MB of RAM, 4GB of internal memory, MicroSD card support, and a 1,650 mAh battery.

According to ePrice and xda.cn it would cost 2,000 Chinese yuan (~US$316). It is expected to come to Chinese telecommunications and China Mobile but there is no exact release date.

HTC One X for AT&T benchmarks unveiled ,Looks quite impressive

When the AT&T flavored HTC One X flagship got announced during MWC, quite a few people were left wondering whether its Snapdragon S4 chipset with two CPU cores will match the performance of the quad-core Tegra 3 of the international version.
Well, it looks like there is no need to worry over the performance of the U.S. bound handset. A couple of leaked benchmarks from the device, leaked by an alleged AT&T device tester, point at a seriously capable piece of hardware coming our way.




As you can see above, the two Krait cores, featured in the chipset have a serious knack for benchmarks. The tester has also mentioned that the battery life of the device is rather impressive as well.
The rumored time frame for the launch of the AT&T branded HTC One X is mid-May. Naturally, we will keep you posted as soon as we find out more
