Nokia to launch 808 Pureview on 13th June

Nokia has dropped in an Invitation  regarding an event to be held on 13Th June 2012 . The event will be will be presided over by Nokia India’s head of smart devices, Vipul Mehrotra, and Dolby Labs India country manager Pankaj Kedia.


Seeing the Nokia and Dolby logos we can expect some Pureview action here. Earlier Nokia launched a countdown timer on their site according to which the phone was scheduled to launch on 6th Une 2012 but that did not happen and now we saw the invite which is scheduled for 13th June...


The price for the Nokia 808 Pureview was leaked to be Rs, 29,999 INR and The official Camera Samples from The Nokia India Team are also available for viewing.

Countdown for Nokia Pureview 808 launch in India begins

Nokia has started a countdown for the launch of its Newly upcoming Camera Superphone Nokia 808 Pureview .
The Phone boasts a 41MP Camera with Pixel condensation technology in which 4-5 pixels are condensed in one Pixel to produce awesome looking Images The company has also launched a pre order page for the device .The price has not been revelaed yet but we found out from the Nokia india website that the phone might be be priced at 29,999 INR .You might want to see the Camera Samples of the Nokia 808 by Nokia India

Nokia Pureview 808 price revealed for India

Here is an interesting thing  we found out Nokia 808 Pureview`s Source code on the Nokia India website The Nokia 808 Pureview will priced at Rs. 29,999 in India The smartphone was announced at CES 2012 and boasts a 41 MP camera

A while ago we saw some Picture samples form Nokia India which blew our eyes withhigh amount of detail in every picture

Nokia Pureview Samples from Nokia India

Nokia India has released Its set of camera samples of the Nokia 808 PureView under the name India with Nokia 808 PureView   on Image Sharing site Flickr The images are of extremely high quality (That is what we expect of the PureView Right?) Nokia India has taken optimum use of the PureView`s 41MP Camer Sensor and interpolation technology.Due to which 4-5 pixels can be condensed into one pixel. to ensure SLR level Camera quality You can Check out the Images Below

This Might be the Lumia Pureview. Looks Ugly

What we have for you here are two leaked slides, which allegedly show a concept design and the actual specs of the upcoming Nokia Lumia PureView. It should be the Windows Phone twin of the Symbian-based 808 PureView.

According to those slides, the Lumia PureView should pack a 4.3-inch HD screen, a dual-core 1.5GHz Krait processor, Adreno 320 graphics, a 41MP camera sensor – same as on the Nokia 808 PureView with 1080p video recording and Windows Phone Apollo ticking inside.

Well, the specs sound quite right for a next generation WP flagship and Nokia would certainly be bringing the PureView technology to its Lumia range, but that design is plain ugly. We know that the huge sensor mandates a thicker profile, but that's just ridiculous.
We really hope that, if these slides are indeed real, Nokia will choose a different design for its Lumia PureView smartphone.
