Google voice for Android to 0.4.2.54 brings voicemail integration for Android ICS devices

Google Voice for Android has been updated to version 0.4.2.54 that brings visual voicemail integration for the devices that runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich).  You can also access access folders from the inbox in Android 4.0 directly.


The voicemail intergration lets you view and listen to your voicemails on demand directly from the call log on your Android phone in phone’s call log. You can also slow down the playback, or you even speed playback up. You turn it on from Voicemail display, under settings in the devices that runs on Android 4.0.

Sony XPERIA NXT new imaginative ad revealed

When it comes to ads, Sony has always pushed the limit of creativeness. Who here remember their famous Bravia ads, like Playdoh and Paint? With the release of their next Xperia NXT devices, Sony Mobile is relying on a massive advertising campaign to promote the brand. The new TV campaign is directed by Wes Anderson of Fantastic Mr. Fox fame.Read more for the video.
It tells the story of little Androids who work tirelessly inside an Xperia smartphone, all based on the imagination of a little kid. How sweet is that? The TV ad is supposed to premier on the evening of Saturday 24 March but it seems that someone at Sony has jumped the gun. Jump over to view the stop motion animated ad in all its glory.

Microsoft Dedicated Mustang showcased..

Microsoft shows off some muscle as a new decked out Ford Mustang has popped up, code named Project Detroit.

Built by West Coast Customs, the Mustang features flashy light kits, Windows Phone controls, Xbox 360′s and Windows tablets galore.


Featuring an awesomely classic 1967 body on a 2012 Mustang, the all matte black paintjob and blue lighting system are reminiscent of a casemod system we’ve all seen a thousand times. That being said, it’s still cool as hell.

The supplied Nokia Lumia 800 Windows Phone lets you remotely locate, unlock and start the vehicle, but that’s so 2011. Now, if you could only drive it with a Windows Phone…

Inside, the interior trim is highlighted by Windows tablets which serve as the dashboard as well as Xbox 360 displays for the passengers, allowing you to put some GTA in your GTA. There’s also Kinects throughout which allow live streaming between the Windows Phones and the onboard systems.

All in all, we’re finally excited to see a project from Microsoft which reflects what we would do if we had Bill Gates’ money. Screw charity.

New Intel Valley View specs leak .promises a fourfold increase in graphic performance

With all the effort focused on ultrabooks and ULV processors like Sandy Bridge, the Intel Atom lineup has hardly been having the best of times recently. However, a leaked presentation indicates that we might not have seen the last of the super power-efficient chipsets.


The next generation of Atoms, codenamed Valley View, will be using 22nm process and will reportedly be coming out next year. It will have an architecture similar to Cedar Trail, but with Ivy Bridge graphics.

This means that you’ll be getting the graphics
performance of a current low-to-mid-range discrete GPU and Ivy Bridge ULV-grade processing power in a chip that will have a TDP of less than 10W.

What’s even more impressive the Valley View Atoms will have support for up to 8GB or RAM and will be available in single, dual and quad-core configurations. We imagine this will make them ideal for powering Windows 8 tablets, where lower power consumption is particularly important.

A Trolling Solar Charger App Fooling Android Users..

A groundbreaking new Android app is rising in popularity in the Google Play store. It’s called Solar Charger and lets you use the phone’s screen to charge the battery with sunlight.

Yes, of course it’s a fake. The app’s description says so itself, in case your common sense failed you. It’s still a very interesting app, here’s why.


First off, the app’s creator got pissed off at all the people who don’t bother reading the description before downloading an app and then wonder why it doesn’t work. Solar Charger is currently sitting at 1,500 angry one star ratings, but considering it has seen over half a million downloads, the number of angry people is probably much greater.

The app also features a “Hall of shame” and a “Hall of fame”. The first one is a list with all the angry reviews the app got, which can be a very entertaining read. The second one features five-star ratings and humorous content, a lot of them are worth a chuckle too.

And finally, it shows just how many people are vulnerable to scams – if they didn’t read the description, not to mentioned failed to realize than an LCD screen and a photovoltaic cell have nothing in common, they probably didn’t read the app’s permissions either.

A silly soundboard app shouldn’t be requesting access to your contacts and the phone’s internal storage – that would be an instant red flag. But if you just clicked install, then you didn’t notice it and you might have opened yourself up for malicious apps.

Gresso Regal Black Glass and Aluminium moulded togethor..

Luxury phone maker Gresso is adding a new model to its Avantgarde lineup - the Gresso Regal Black. The handset is styled to look like a speedboat and (as usual) is priced for people who already own a speedboat.
The Regal Black is machined out of a single slab of titanium, making it Gresso's first attempt at a unibody design. The surface of the phone is painted black and has a rough matte texture.


Only 9% of the original metal remains in the frame after the machining process is done. The front and back of the phone are made of mineral glass, tinted black by an exclusive process designed especially for the Regal series.

The Gresso Regal Black measures 121 x 46 x 12 mm and weighs 130 g. It runs on Nokia's Series 40 platform, so don't expect any technological miracles as far as the software is concerned.
What you do need to know about the Regal Black is that only 333 of them will be made, so it certainly offers some exclusivity. If you want to be in the club, you'll be able to snatch one in April from authorized Gresso retailers or online. It will set you back $5000, but don't tell that to your friends that as this is fairly cheap for the class.
